A leader at a mid-size tech company engaged a Flourish coach to elevate her executive presence. Working together, the client and Flourish coach leveraged 360 feedback and in-the-moment shadowing to gain a solid understanding of how she currently shows up and what might be improved. Through specific practices and a direct coaching style, the Flourish coach helped the client increase her confidence and engage in difficult conversations more skillfully, resulting in two promotions and positive feedback from colleagues.

As follow-up to a significant reorg, the leader of a biotech clinical group partnered with a Flourish coach to ‘relaunch’ her global leadership team, to increase trust and define their new, shared purpose. Facilitated by the Flourish coach, the leader and team examined how current team dynamics were getting in the way, and built a shared appreciation of their strengths and preferred work styles. Checking in after the offsite, the team reported feeling more cohesive, with a deeper commitment to their value proposition and increased focus on their strategic priorities.

Large Tech Company

Facing a decline in engagement scores, the CHRO of a mid-size tech company re-engaged Flourish as an objective and trusted partner, to explore root causes and figure out what was really going on. Flourish consultants worked closely with leaders and employee focus groups to gather a broad perspective and collaborate on ways to boost morale. Led by internal champions, the follow-up efforts helped to improve cohesion and clarity on the HR leadership team and foster cross-team collaboration across the organization. Later engagement scores showed a slight increase, but more importantly more open communication and accountability.


Fast-Growth Life Sciences Company

Our client was looking for ways to help their people build leadership and influence skills. They had successfully used leadership and executive coaching for many years but wanted to find a solution that was more inclusive and scalable given their flat organizational structure and rapid growth. Flourish facilitated multiple cross-functional group coaching cohorts, wherein participants met monthly for six months to learn and practice new skills in a community of their colleagues using real-life coaching topics and issues. Each participant selected a learning partner and also had access to the group coach for two optional 1:1 coaching sessions. In addition to developing new approaches to handle challenges both in and out of work, this method also helped participants get to know people from other functions and develop coaching skills that would benefit them in future interactions with others. After the program, participants reported having greatly increased self-and other-awareness and a greater range of how to handle challenging situations when they arise.
